Charlotte's Tea Room

We booked a reservation FOUR WEEKS in advance and our reservation was CANCELLED with no notice. This is my best friends first birthday without her mother who passed unexpectedly and the manager was ATROCIOUS and completely unwilling to assist us. I will NEVER recommend this tea house and furthermore will go out of my way to recommend NOT going to this establishment.

I have been here twice so far but yesterday was amazing! We showed up without a reservation like the last visit but was ini turned away due to short staff issues. However I really wanted to do brunch here for my birthday and a closed mouth doesn't get fed so I called them and asked if we could still be sat with a longer wait time. We didn't mind waiting and I have restaurant and dining experience so I know how that goes behind the scenes. I was so happy that we were accommodated and I told the young lady not to feel pressured and to take her time, we were chilling. This time around I had my mother with me and she was very pleased with everything. The scones were delicious, the clotted cream, lemon curd, the deluxe tea for two, the dragon pearl Jasmine tea, the sandwiches, and the butternut squash soup were all amazing!! It really set the tone for the day of festivities to begin. We drove from about forty minutes away to be here and I'm so happy that they fit us in! I now know to set a reservation from now on lol. Also the brownie Sunday is always a treat! Thank you for my birthday tiara, I appreciate you guys so much!!

Had such a fun and peaceful experience here with my older sister and her friends yesterday a bit before the tea room became busy. My pot of sencha tea was magnificently delicate!! And the pineapple upside down cake had so much flavor. I love the attention to detail. there was a new waitress on her first day taking our order and she was so friendly and accommodating—I’ve worked food service briefly before and know how difficult it can be. I forgot to ask her for her name but I think I recognized her from school before. Me and my sister will for sure be coming again 💖

So I grew up around here and have been a loyal fan of Charlotte’s for ages. When I come back to visit, it’s a must to visit! Sadly I was a little disappointed on this last visit. I had a 2pm reservation and it is without exaggeration to say that I stood for 10 minutes at the entryway before anyone came out. Both employees were behind a curtain and not waiting on tables to checking on guests. There were only two other tables there during our reservation but it still took another 5 minutes to get menus. They never asked if we wanted water. We had to ask for water, silverware, etc. food and tea were still delicious as always and it’s still a special place, but this was actually a little disheartening. I was also surprised they turned away two tables around the 2pm hour even though the place was nearly empty.

Warm and welcoming, tea at Charlotte's is an enjoyable experience. We ordered both the Queens tea for two and a ham and Brie panini. The tea tower was a delightful, highlights include the egg salad on puff, and delectable fresh scones. The clotted cream and lemon curd were very good. We were able to order two small pots of tea, and they had a good selection of Harney and Sons tea. The panini was delicious and came with a small fresh side salad. I think next time I will order a second scone and skip the panini and that would provide a very ample lunch. Do go! Fun for a special occasion or a nice outing after shopping in Warwick or near-by Sugar Loaf.

What a nice surprise… we drove by many times but yesterday we finally stepped in and enjoyed the whole expierence… is such a cute little place to hang out, enjoy the ambiance some tea and food. We had a great time allthough this is a place in the more pricey side. Service really nice, location and environment awesome .. Dont be in rush we you come here… We will be back andvI highly recommend this place
